Thanks to everyone who came to our absolutely splendid and successful Community Picnic at Meersbrook Park today to celebrate the reopening of Meersbrook Hall by the Friends of Meersbrook Hall in partnership with Sheffield City Council it was our very first event and raised much needed funds for the hall.
Our wonderful bookmarks and brooches by Quirky Metals sold very well.
Thanks to all the artists Julian Jones, Carrfield Community Choir, Woodseats Musical Theatre and the fantastic Liam Walker Band. The linked ‘Hands Aroujd the Hall’ was amazing and everyone mustered very quickly for the drone.
Our volunteer team at the hall and in the Walled Garden were outstanding. Thanks to everyone who made the lovely cakes and massive thanks to Paul Blakeman for the PA and Sound Management. Let’s do it again soon !
